We were there for the block party featuring The Boogiemen. Always love to see Scott & the band - we drove in from Broussard to experience the show in Old Covington. While the show was great the venue left a lot to be desired... $10 cover charge and expensive drinks are one thing - but then we encounter a very rude group of folks on the deck who repeatly told us that they had booked the band for a private party and had paid $4k. Well, they shut down the Hooked up in both Hammond and Madisonville. Laura and I really enjoyed the environment and the food. When we heard there was a location opened in Covington, we were excited to get our fix again. We arrived around 7:30 on a Saturday night, the restaurant wasn't even half full, which we found odd for a Saturday night in downtown Covington.
