This review has been a long time coming! Really lucky to have this spot in Ealing. Everything sold here is worth the price because the meat is ethically sourced and high quality compared to what you’d get at the supermarket. I had been a vegetarian for some time and am usually very suspicious of supermarket meat re: animal welfare, but I’m confident in Hook and Cleaver’s supply chain so have started eating meat a few times a week now, and only buy it from here. Bit overpriced. Stock runs out quickly. A lot of old organ meats left. But super friendly staff
Great local shop, very happy with all purchases.
I have to say I think there has been a decease in overall quality in this butcher shop. Customer service is abrupt, borderline rude, they have a very relaxed attitude around pricing accuracy, some of the butchery is technically slap dash and I have got some meat home to realise that it is not as fresh as you would expect. It's not really good enough given the premium you pay to shop here.
