When my friend told me my lethargic senior-ish American pit bull needed to see a chiropractor, I rolled my eyes. Well, he was right. I took Micky to see Dr. Massey and after 3 or 4 sessions, Micky was like a young dog again. That was 3 years ago, and with maintenance adjustments, he is still jumping, running, and playing like a young dog.
My poor chiweenie has had back problems since very young...as gets older has days struggles to stand...chiro care was mentioned by some people who hav doxies. I found dr. Massey and has been a game changer. From drugged up on pain pills and constant steroid shots to regular monthly visits and no drugs....a happy pup who is 8 now. A definate plus plus in our lives!
Dr. Massey is literally my dog's chiropractic Savior!! 4+ years ago, my little chihuahua, Winston, became paralyzed from his ribs down from a slipped disc. My vet gave us w options: euthanasia or a referral to a surgeon who quoted $5k with only a 50% chance of recovery. Winston was 10 years old at that time, wasn't eating or moving, & required manual expression for toileting & diapering (I had to squeeze his bladder/bowels to help him eliminate). Dr. Massey is pawesome!! He helped my dog Daisy who was having neurological issues. We had a consult with a surgeon and decided to try a doggie chiropractor. Now both pups see him. Highly recommend!
