I'm in the process of building a home and have spent a good amount of money at Hood's purchasing products for the home. On 1/4/24, I purchased a cabinet for the bathroom and after unpacking, there was light damage on the door and one of the shelves was missing. The following day, I took the 45 minute drive back to Hoods in hopes of getting a shelf, but was told by the sales associate to bring the cabinet back and and I could get a new cabinet. At first visit was very impressed. Went back to purchase my flooring and an exterior door (it was the end of the month and sales clerk was trying to reach his quota). When he wrote the ticket he did not add that the door needed to be cut an extra 2 inches. He as well on of the managers was there when he was writing the ticket up. Well door came in, very very nice. Door was not cut to the specifications that we requested. They wanted us to pay an extra $240.00 to cut the door. This was not our mistake it was theirs. We... read more
