I'm not sure what's changed but the level of service is not the same. .
Their sales rep did not like my questions so the hung up on me. If this is how you act when getting a client, I don't want to find out how they treat people who have already signed up.
I used Paul Hood last year. Super expensive and horrible service. It is not locally owned. I had to push them to get the taxes done on time. They had all of the info to do the taxes for several months.
Our 2022 taxes were taken here over 12 months ago to be amended and 2023 to be filed and they still aren’t done. They even supposedly marked it as “high priority“ when they transferred it to a new preparer last November. I was feeling confident then that it would finally get done. I was told they had everything they needed & had no questions for me. But it’s been “crickets”. Since then I have tried following up numerous times and get no response or update on the status. Horrible. They are not proactive, a very junior person completes your tax returns all communication is via email and I require a higher touch service. I requested a meeting had to reschedule and they were unable to reschedule using their own technology the person said I am not sure how to reschedule. Ridiculous! I have now requested to cancel for two months without a response and they are still billing me. I can’t recommend this business - find another firm.
