When you get admitted, things are ok. Typical hospital experience. But the most recent ER visit for my mother-in-law was a little disappointing. The nurse got hostile with me over a misunderstanding. Then later, when I asked for an extra chair from the nurse for a friend who arrived, she called security on me, citing no more than 2 visitors. I was in the process of leaving to obey this rule that I didn't know about, when the guard showed up to the room to enforce the rule. Have a little decency.
Unprofessional, judgemental ER staff. My insurance lapsed, and needed refills from a most recent surgery, which was done there. The PA on staff simply said "well, we dont do that here". I needed pain meds from the surgery I had and no doctors would see me due to my lapse in insurance. Felt like nothing more than a piece of garbage for being in pain. Sucks that drug seekers ruin it for those who are in need. Sucks even worse when hospital staff sees everyone like that. Thanks for the 200$ bill, for absolutely nothing.
When i first walked in the office space it smelled awful- like old cigarettes. The front desk girl was very unpleasant. She began asking me personal questions within ear shot of other patients. When I asked her if there was somewhere private I could relay this information, or forms i could fill out instead, she gave me a LOT of attitude and acted like I completely inconvenienced her day.
