I have infusions every 3 weeks and everyone I see from the receptionist to the nurses are always amazing. My infusions are thru a power port but they have never had issues accessing it and making sure I'm comfortable for the entirety of the session.
Infusion was totally botched. Jo Lynn was the nurse who wasn't able to perform basic math. She did start the IV well - only a few minor bad habits. The dangerous part was the IV rate. She set the pump for 400ml at 22 minutes an hour. Unfortunately, the infusion medication was pre-mixed in a 100ml. The infusion was administered over 5.5 minutes (22 divided by 4). I want to thank the staff (Carmen, Juliana, Kimber, and Dani) at HH infusion center Osborn for my positive experience this morning. Getting infused is hard sometimes but these professionals were tremendous, helpful, friendly, and unbelievable, really, for their kindness and caring!
Trying to get infusion done at outpatient infusion center since end of September. The process has been a complete shambles.
