Thank you Honor Flight for allowing me to be a Guardian on the last flight of 2017. It was a wonderful, beautiful experience for my veteran and me. Not only did I learn about my veteran's experiences, but I feel he will always be my Guardian. For that I am thankful. I could not take my Dad, a WWII vet, but I could help someone else who served, and make them feel like a hero, even if it is for one day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for a day I will always remember. I hope to be a Guardian again one day...
My husband just returned from the Honor flight.I have never seen him so misty eyed and just raving about what a memorable time he had . This is a wonderful organization. The volunteers really go the extra mile to make sure these veterans have a memorable time. Thanks to all the folks who work so hard to make this a great event . Ann Tanner
