Ellis County Honor Flight Honor Flight National has numerous hubs operating all across the United States with a common goal, that is: to take as many of the remaining WWII veterans as possible to Washington to see the WWII Memorial before it is too late. We are losing 1000+ each day of these heroes from the "Greatest Generation". They and their families served and sacrificed so we as a nation can continue to enjoy the freedoms we have today. Great organization doing unbelievable things for our Vets.
Great idea. Our 8th Grade students were so impressed with the WWII Memorial and the Vets that they met that they now want to raise money for a flight! Stay tuned!
