This is a terrible vet. They will take advantage of you and will claim your pet needs expensive surgery when they don’t at all, and ongoing tests that are unnecessary as well. I would strongly recommend you go anywhere else.
Honnas advertises itself on Google as a low cost vet. Some of the billed charges - Maropitant 60 mg $66 for one pill. A four pack is $199.30 - I paid a 20% upcharge for one pill (that I wanted to help my dying dog be more comfortable while I switched to a much more reasonably priced vet). Normal cost is $11 for one pill or a four pack for $44. It goes on - I paid $180 for fluids. My usual vet is $64. The Honnas vet recommended a blood transfusion before any testing was done to find out why my dog would need the transfusion. ... read more
