Very professional
Terrible experience with this doctor. Entire visit lasted about 15 minutes and took 3 hours of my day. Though soft spoken was completely dismissive and trivialized my concerns. I will never return to this hospital in general nor this doctor in particular. Maybe if you have already landed in their emergency room from cardiac arrest but certainly not for diagnostic or preventive care.
Doctor took time with me and explained everything to me . Made sure I understood everything, and did not feel rushed.

My husband went to Dr.Tjoa a couple of years,and still never knew what he did besides talk,but not listen,never came to see my husband when he was in the er at jefferson hospital,i had to insist on a phone call from him about my husband,s blood pressure and oxygen level,because everyone kept blaming it on the covid but i knew better 2 days before he died Dr,Tjoa said it was not a heart issue,but it was I would not take my dog to him,all he wants is to talk
I absolutely love this doctor. He is very personable and knows what he is doing as a heart specialist. I would highly recommend him.
Great bedside manner. He was thorough and reassuring. Highly recommend!
Dr. Tjoa acts nice but will snip at you if you asked for clarity.(I had a head trauma and he gets fustrated accommodating my disability such as; need to repeat something) He is very arrogant and condescending. His care summary notes had errors. (2 separate visits) Had to call the office to have them corrected. He has been my doctor since 2015-2018 starting from an emergency room at JMH. I have many treating doctors. All are compassionate, especially with my disability. Not Dr. Tjoa though. Cold.
My 72 yr old dad See's Dr Tjoa , I was very impressed with the time and patience he took to explain things not only to my dad but also to my mom and me. He is a very caring Dr. I'm not easily impressed with a Dr the first time especially when it comes to my parents care ( I have told a few off for getting rude with my dad because he doesn't hear well ) but I was VERY impressed the first time and every time I have met with Dr.Tjoa .
