Go only if you want your clothes ruined! – Hong Kong Jack Tailor was the worst service experience of my life! I wish I were exaggerating but I'm not. Though his Best of New York review raves about his reasonable prices, he actually charges much more than those rates. To get a pair of pants taken in at the waist is between $20-22 dollars (depending on how "special" he deems them to be), not the $12 or $14 his reviews claim. Great service – I brought a rather expensive silk dress here to be altered. Not only did they do it quickly (within 4 days) but they were friendly and not overpriced. The owner can barely speak english but he is in no way pushy or rude, in fact he pretty much knows exactly what you need done w/out asking! I would definitely recommend this place.
