Best (well, almost only) Chinese food around Hong Kong Restaurant serves some very good Chinese food--I recommend the Mongolian beef, almond chicken and pot stickers. The speed of the service is uneven, but the servers are always polite. Prices are reasonable, ambience is about what you'd expect at a Chinese restaurant (although it's fairly obvious that the building used to be a Wendy's!). Szechuan Chick for the Win I've been going to this restaurant as my staple Chinese food when up north, and I've never been disappointed. Their Szechuan Chicken is the best I've ever had, and I find it hard to branch away from in order to try new things. Ham in everything, yuck! I have been to numerous Chinese restaurants in my lifetime, but I have never seen (until now) ham added to Hot & Sour Soup, as well as in the Hogn Kong Fried Rice which is their version of house fried rice. The food is no where near being authentic, however if your into mediocre chinese food, then this is the place for you. ordered spicy Mongolian beef a few days ago, got mild. thats ok it happens. they agree to replace when I come back in a few days. he says he wrote my order down, but when I called back tonight, no record of my call. so tell him I need a replacement order or spicy Mongolian beef. 50 mins later guy comes to my truck, ask him if this is spicy he says yes. get home, clearly the mild. call back, he wants me to come back 15 mins for spicy sauce so I guess to swim the veggis in a pool of sauce. no thanks. by the time I get back foo... read more
