This is decent. It's over salted. You should never add salt as a preservative to an ocean fish. This hinders the natural flavor and adds too much bitterness to the sweet smoky flavor. If you want great smokes salmon go to Oregon. I expected Better with as many commercials as this has, but this is Colorado.
I'm very particular about fish, most makes me sick even if I enjoy the taste of it, can't stomach it, but this Salmon is delicious and doesn't upset my stomach
You know how so often you see something advertized, all hyped up, and then you buy it and it's a disappointment? Well, Honey Smoked Fish advertizes on the radio a lot here, and every time I hear their commercials it makes me hungry, so we finally bought some. Holy holy holy. If you like smoked salmon, I recommend it. We got the cracked pepper version.
Amazing I always hear about it on the radio so I thought I would try it even though I'm not a huge fan of smoked salmon. Wow! I was surprised in the best want delicious!
Placed an order that was supposed to arrive for Christmas and it did not come. They were quick to withdraw my money but as of Friday 12/26 still have not sent me my order. How disappointing since I've heard great things about this product.
I really wish it wasn't so expensive now! Especially since I am completely addicted to it!
About a year ago it was much better, it was much firmer and richer in taste. Now they leave much more liquid in the fish, I guess they do this to add to the weight. I wish they would go back to how they used to do it. I guess they are focused on the bottom line and not the quality. Sad but true.
Hands down THE best smoked salmon ever. I buy it at Costco and enjoy the consistent quality and taste. I've made salmon burgers, patties, salads, and have eaten it cold right out of the bag for breakfast. It's that good. It's one of the staples I must have from Costco on a regular basis. Excellent fish!
