I had taken my dachshund Penny there ever since she was a puppy and they have always been good to her and took care of her. I would board her while I was on vacation sometimes and I never worried because she was always taken care of. She had developed recently intervertebral disc disease and she stayed for a few days for treatments, but things took a turn for the worse and Penny didn't show any signs of recovery so we had to make the ultimate decision to euthanize her.
