This is a great place for a quick vacation.
Friday night August 1st 7:35pm……pulled up to the Honey Creek Boat dock. Was greeted by a very nice young gentleman offering assistance to tie our boat up. The walking trail up to the restaurant was nothing less than treacherous. Once at the restaurant, it was 20 minutes to get a hostess to let us know it would be an hour wait to get seated. The restaurant was maybe 40% full. No one at the bar. We accepted our wait time and sat at the bar. It was another 15 minutes to get a bar tender to serve us. It's nice, but needs some love. If you're here with family for the amenities, you'll not be disappointed; the issue is It's in the middle of nowhere. It also has some maintenance issues, but nothing that will affect your stay. Would stay again.
