Zero stars if we were allowed. Failed to let us know prior to booking/arrival that the waterpark was closed. They claim it was an automatic email but we got nothing other than the regular confirmation. The receptionist over the phone told us we could come before check in to get wristbands and swim until the room was ready. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cabin! The location right on the lake was breathtaking, and the cabin itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Waking up to the sunrise over the water and enjoying coffee on the deck was pure bliss. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and attentive without being intrusive. Had a company outing. Accommodations were amazing. I will be taking my family back and enjoy the indoor water park.
Will not be coming back! We camped at the RV park, due to it being one of the few places with full hookups around the lake. RV sites were nice with a view of the lake, but the fee is $59 per night, PLUS a $25 per night "Resort Fee." That makes the camping fee $84 per night! No way is this a destination RV park resort, similar to some KOAs or Glacier National Park where we spent that much for an RV site.
