We lived in the honey creek apartments from July 2019 until July of 2026. We mainly stayed so long because we became good friends with some of the neighbors. There’s things that are both good and bad about the place. The good: the location is fantastic, right off of I-43 so you can get to MKE with ease. The grounds around the property are typically maintained pretty well. The bad: the complex is owned by Teronomy and they will take every chance they can get to get more money out of you. Wish I could give 2.5 stars...seeing as I got my security deposit and corporate hasn't called me back I guess now is the time for my review. Where to start....It's nicely located off of 43 and if you're lucky and get good neighbors like I did, it's a wonderful experience. That is the main reason we stayed as long as we did. The unit itself was decent. Maintenance was hit or miss with how long it took to fix the issues. Management....It is a corporation...so they want to keep all the money they can. Slowest maintenance imaginable. Literally takes months to have issues resolved. Terrible communication also. "Maintenance director" claims some of the issues are impossible to fix. Smartest guy in the room vibes. Completely unacceptable for $1800/mo. Will update my review if anything is rectified. Update: it's gotten better, but still rather slow. I haven't had many issues since this review thankfully. I still don't respect a maintenance director with zero solutions because he doesn't want to spend money.
