19 thirsty and hungry Newbury Velo cyclists dropped in for coffee and cake on a Sunday morning. As there was so many of us, we gave advance notice to Asta and she arranged for extra staff and cakes to be ready for when we arrived. We sat beside the beautiful river and enjoyed the coffee, cakes and excellent service. A great way to end a super Sunday ride and all riders left fully refreshed! Thank you Asta and team
The food and drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was peaceful. Perfect place to grab a drink and a snack for lunch! I do recommend 😁
The food was good, the drinks were hot. The service was shocking, the tables were not cleared, I had to ask for a cloth so I could clear the seats of crumbs, but a girl did come and do it. There were 4 staff all chatting and laughing very loudly, everyone could hear everything they were saying, all on their phones, stood around not doing very much, very disappointing, your staff let you down big time
Nice, quaint little cafe with adjoining pub (Hartley Arms). Very friendly and swift service (although it was quiet). Tiny courtyard where we sat with 4 dogs for lovely coffee, panani and cake!
