Honest is a franchise and I’ve tried it in Florida ,some how this place in Milwaukee doesn’t meet the standards of honest . Their food is oily and can be better to match honest standards
I really wanted to be thrilled about their offerings and gave them many opportunities but it failed to meet basic requirements. 1. Pulav which is their signature dish tasted like plastic 2. Sambhar had so much sugar and served cold multiple times 3. Most recent Mehdu Vada - totally uncooked from the inside. Would not recommend this place at all. There are many alternate options.
We tried HonesT on a whim looking for curry. We ended up trying 3 different dishes and were amazed by each one. The gentleman (I'm guessing he is the owner) who helped us pick out the dishes was patient and helpful, explained everything. Food was brought out fresh and hot. The restaurant is so clean and well kept. If you are in the mood for some really good Indian food, check it out.
Had a very delicious lunch with family here today! Group of 6 and we enjoyed everything we ordered including pav bhaji, kattpa sandwich, spring dosa, rava dosa, wada sambar, and bakhri pizza. Everything came super hot and freshly made. Staff is very friendly and place is neat and clean. We highly recommend this place if you are someone who craves desi street food.
