My boyfriend and I went today, as neither of us knew the place existed until we drove by. Curiosity got the best of us and we are so grateful for the experience. John is a very helpful, friendly, nice guy. He also has a way with animals which made me love the place even more. Definitely customers for life when we can make it to the area!
Best place in the county for fishing since forever!
I have enjoyed the hardcore kindness from the Smith Homestead since the hurricanes of 2005. The peace, tranquility, and straightforward service by everyone at Honest John’s supersedes that of any marina. Anywhere. And I’ve ridden the mule around the world. NOW, my children join me for all that Honest John’s MARINA offers - including feeding the ducks, chickens, fish and even the bossy old rooster and sweet pig! Truly the cornerstone of the barrier island! LORD BLESS!
I've been going to Honest Johns since I was a little kid! Today, the place looks better than it ever has. The parking area, boat ramp and property as a whole look a amazing. Really fun "old Florida" place to go visit, especially of you bring a kayak!
Fantastic place! Old Florida, very nice and friendly staff! Will be going again and again! Beautiful and peaceful. Loved the chickens, ducks, the sweet old dog and the piggy!
