We’ve had a bunch of work done at Honest Auto. Their prices are fair and the communication is great. I highly recommend them!
I had my 2019 GMC 1500 to a local dealer who diagnosed several things that needed to be done, including transmission seal and power steering pump for a total $3800. I decided to have Nick for Honest Auto look at it. He said not all the work the dealer said must be done was needed but he did most of the items for $1300. They did work on my Jaguar XF and it took several months. Having the car sit for that long, the tires became flat-spotted and the car vibrated constantly afterwards and moreover, whatever "work" they did on the car, it still ran poorly. After looking under the hood, I could see many broken wire clips and the engine cover was missing. Yet, they still had the nerve to charge over $1,000 for work that never solved the problem. Zero star review!! TERRIBLE customer service! First of all, when attempting to make an appointment, I could not talk to a person to explain the problem with the vehicle; only text message until the vehicle is dropped off. I had an issue that required a bit of explanation. The original text from Honest Auto(HH) said to drop my vehicle off at 9:00am. I arrived at HH a bit after 9:00am expecting to meet the person to explain the issue. After waiting for 15 minutes and texting the number multiple times, I gave up and drove home.... read more
