My husband and I purchased a log home package in 2024. Paid cash. Waited a reasonable amount of time before the log package was delivered to our property but then the log package just sat on our property, which we rushed to get ready for them, for approximately 4+ months before THEIR construction contractor started the job and complaining how bad he didn’t want to be there. Honest Abe is the appropriate name for this business. Our home was lost in the Gatlinburg fires. Unfortunately, we did not have the house plans and were left with only a scorched piece of property and a slab of concrete. There were numerous contractors that swarmed the mountain when rebuilding began. We were very concerned with the quality and cost. Honest Abe was able to deliver on both of those major concerns. Honest Abe Log Homes is the best! Our family has used them more than once. A smaller cabin built from the ground up, and log siding for an older, partially log home. We found them to be very helpful with modifying the design of the log home our family chose to best fit it's purpose. They delivered and provided the crew to build the log home shell with our family opting to finish out the rest.
