Tom D. was amazing! I've been bringing my 2011 Honda Accord to Honest 1 Auto (West Bloomington) for 6 years now. They always give me a comprehensive explanation for all services needed. They also explain what services are needed right away and what can wait. Appointments are received on time and staff is knowledgeable. So appreciate them!!
Posting anything positive about a mechanic feels unnatural, mechanic shops are notorious for ripping people off, especially woman, A1 is the first place I've ever been to where the staff listened,they did their job and fixed only what needed to be fixed, the price was reasonable with a loaner car option along with easy to understand visuals of all issues. I've been anti mechanic shops for 20 years! took a chance with them and have no regrets!
TOM IS AMAZING!!! Truly the best place to take your in vehicle too. They hepl you no matter what. They put the customer first!!! I had my car there for 2 months and there was never 1 issues. They gave me a loaner for FREE!!! IF YOU ARE HAVING ANY ISSUES WITH YOUR VEHICLE JUST CALL AND I GUARANTEE. TOM WILL HAVE A SOLUTION!!!! NUMBER 1 HANDS DOWN!!!
I had an alternator and a belt go out. Initial quote on the phone was $800 and 2 other mechanics told me around $800 so i chose honest one cuz they were the closest. Then after inspection they told me it would actually be $1020. Then called me back and said they forgot to include labor in the bill and it was actually more. It ended up being $1239 after they cut a bunch of fees. but then they never stated there was a credit card fee so it was $1264. The work is ok quality. Went in for an oil change and general maintenance after getting my car out of winter storage. They were efficient, informative and fair priced. Really appreciate the notes on what maintenance to expect coming up in the near future! Good people that do good work. Will be back!
