All the treadmills here use miles per hour, which makes no sense for people who are serious about training. Made it a really easy choice to go to the GoodLife gym next door instead.
They recently changed all their treadmills to be in miles per hour, instead of km per hour. I asked them if they would change some back, or at least half of them but they said no. Weird time to be going pro-american and using their measurement system. Who even uses miles instead of km for tracking running progress and race distance/time?
Gym small and sad, not clean, set up weirdly but oh well I signed the contract so I will have to suffer for a year. Also Im the only member that is required a parking pass 😭sorry that my car doesn't look ok for you all!
I would give no stars if I could. 1 staff member working in the entire gym, $22 for a day pass and there’s barely any equipment. The machines they do have are all squished in the middle of the gym right when you walk in. I was doing a chest press excersise, staring at someone doing a back exercise. Weird vibes from male members if you’re a woman. Not surprising for the danforth.
Utter chaos with membership payments. First, they kept charging me a higher fee despite me having signed a contract and switched to a cheaper membership. If I hadn’t noticed this on my card balance, they would’ve kept charging me extra. Now, they accidentally charged me twice on the same day, so I need to email them again and arrange the refund. This isn’t how it should work, folks.
