RecommendedI have taken my cars to Hondoworks in Balch Springs for over 20 years. Arnold is sharp, reasonable, and honest. Recently my Outback required a repair with an estimate of $430 (the dealership’s estimate was $730). Arnold agreed with me that my car had too low of mileage to have such an expensive repair need. He encouraged me to contact Subaru even though my car was 10,000 miles past warranty. I contacted Subaru and they comped the dealership for a “one-time, good will” repair. Arnold is simply the most honest Mechanic I've ever met, hes straight to the point and wont yank your chain. I had a beat up old Dodge stratus and he always made sure I was up on the road in no time. I've even purchased a vehicle from him and it's always a pleasure to see him. I recommend him to all of my friends and family. Hopefully you too will do the same!

I posted this same review on Google but I wanted to make sure that people saw it. I took my 2012 Crosstour in for a couple of issues. The owner Arnold was very nice he even went on a test drive so I could show him what I believed were the problems. He was very honest and straight forward addressing all my concerns. I used Hondoworks for many many years. They not only do great work but has great prices and Arnold and his family always treated me like family.
This place is a hidden gem! Arnold and his team are the best at what they do. Go above and beyond what you would expect at most mechanic shops. The owner Arnold is not only reasonable in his prices but hes a great person. He has helped me far beyond just car repairs. Hes not out to get the last dollar but instead helps you get the best deal in town with repairs. Go to his shop for all your mechanic needs. You will not be disappointed!
