My wife and I have lived here for over fifteen years and LOVE it! Homewood Village is the cleanest park in Modesto. Close to shopping and the bus route, Homewood Village is centrally located. Many people here in the park have stated, after moving in, "We wish we would have moved here years ago." With a community of this size, yes you're going to have a few residents, who don't appreciate the rules that govern the park, but without them, Homewood Village would be just another mobile home park.
The new manager is rude and is trying to take over peoples homes by evicting them and then rejecting any buyer the person has for their home that way they can take it over and repossess it. They need a new manager. The old manager would never evict people for small reasons. Shes evicting people for a STRAY cat going in someones yard and evicting someone for having company. Shes evicted a lot more people too for little reasons. The club house doesn't work and there's no security. They raise up the price of rent every year.
Homewood Village is a five-star community for older persons (age 55 and older). It is the premier and most sought-after Manufactured Home Community in the Modesto area. There are outstanding community facilities for resident activities and professional management.
