This hotel is poorly managed. I had to make multiple requests for housekeeping, which were often not fulfilled without additional requests being made. There is clearly a communication breakdown between the front desk and housekeeping. The floors are sticky throughout the hotel and the hallways reek of dog. Stairwells haven’t been cleaned in ages. This hotel has a great design and location, but sadly is another casualty of the post-pandemic corporate bs. I feel really bad for the people who work here....most HARD working and pleasant and doing their best. It's a shame that the hotel is neglected and understaffed. Housekeeping has been great, but the dog scented rug really needs to be replaced. Breakfast was cancelled on a busy Sunday, which is unacceptable for a large chain hotel. I feel it is very difficult to find a decent Hilton property anywhere in that southern stretch of the NJ Turnpike and I95 in Delaware down to northern Maryland. This time, we tried this location and we were pleasantly surprised. It is not right off the interstate, but worth it compared to the other mediocre Hilton properties in places like Newark, DE.
