We stayed one night at Homewood Suites by Hilton Wilmington Downtown for my wife’s graduation at the Chase Center, and the location was definitely a plus—it’s very close and made getting to the ceremony easy. The suite itself was spacious, especially the living area, and the kitchen was great, with a full-size refrigerator that worked well for our family. I am disappointed with this hotel. The floor was sticky and dirty. We can see the dirty around the room. The rug on the room was dirty and torn, the bath rug was torn, the bath towels were stinking, the outside of dishwasher and fridge were dirty. Poor breakfast. I tried to talk to to the manager and he was rude. I definitely would no recommend this hotel to anyone.
Love these. Always clean and modern. Get a river side room, top floor if possible. Parking out front fills fast, over flow a block away.
