Homewood Suites is my family's favorite place. Stacy at the front desk welcomed us. A quick check-in, She is so friendly and nice, happily brewed fresh coffee upon our request and was very helpful in providing conditioners that we needed and our bathroom didn't have the pump for some reason. Very clean room with super comfortable pillows and mattress. The hot breakfast including Sliders, Chicken Tacos, Scrambled Eggs, Oatmeal, Waffels, and French Toasts was very delicious and well-made. The location is ideal for anyone visiting Williamsburg. Staff was very nice and deserve 6 stars because they do their best in what appears to be under staffed. At breakfast there was one person trying to clean, refill, and accommodate requests. Breakfast: not enough fresh options. Fruit was just old looking apples and oranges. Juice was only watered down apple juice. Of the 2 waffle machines, only 1 worked; creating a very long line. The French toast was very hard and difficult to chew. There was barely any syrup at 8 am. Great stay! We stayed 8 nights on a vacation. The hotel and grounds were very clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great with many options. I would highly recommend staying here.
If they allowed 4.8 stars I would go with that. 1. Great Staff 2. Clean Rooms and common areas. 3. Plenty of well lite parking. 4. They need to not do breakfast tacos. Traditional biscuits, egg, grits, bacon would be a way better call for breakfast but for some unique reason they served breakfast tacos which were a 1 out of 5 when it comes to breakfast tacos.
