This is actually a good hotel otherwise, but I feel I need to leave this review to get the attention of the owners for one specific problem, which front desk and maintenance staff were not able to resolve, despite their best intentions. To the owners: you need to fix your thermostat setup in the rooms. These thermostats have occupancy motion sensors which turn off the air conditioning when no movement is detected. Room was really hot when we got in. The AC did not work for the room and the room stayed very hot to stay. There were bugs in the room as well. Would not recommend to stay here.
Checked into the room and the air conditioning didn’t work, and the boiler room next to my room made tons of noise. It took 10 minutes for the front desk person to answer. They said they’d bring me a key in 5 minutes to change rooms. After 30 minutes, I went down, and he said he forgot. The new room I am currently in was set at 74 degrees.
While the staff is interacted with was great, our stay was just not good. The room we stayed in was DIRTY! The bathroom was so nasty. The grout in the bathroom was chipping off. There was filth on the walls and the room was hot no matter how much we messed with the thermostat. The breakfast was not great either.
