This hotel has made a 180 in cleanliness. It is clean, smells good and I loveeeeeee seeing Crystal at the front desk. She treats me nice when I see her. She greets me by my name and she is a true gem to the hotel. Staff are all kind. This is my home away from home.

I have ventured a lot with my family, but this place exceeded my expectations. I can see where some reviews mentioned rudeness from the desk staff, but being from nyc I would interpret the rudeness as straight forwardness and no sence love and devotion from the workers to this place. The hotel location and size put into different categorie closer to resort, as it has many activities available. My son loved and pool, if returning to the Norfolk area I would definitely come back!

I had a pleasant stay at Homewood Suites in Norfolk, VA. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making check-in and my overall experience smooth. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and dining options. My room was clean and well-maintained, though the furniture was a bit dated. I travel a lot and I found everything about this hotel to be very nice. The room was clean, and well maintained. The entire staff was pleasant and courteous and reflected the attitude they truly appreciated your business. The front desk receptionist during the daytime and the woman with dreds who I’m assuming was one of the managers as well as one of the head maintenance men were very accommodating and went out of their way to resolve my issue to ensure my stay was a pleasant. The absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. Stood in the lobby for 3 hours after the door ate my key. Took them 3 hours to figure out how to get me access to a room I had been staying in for days. Will never stay at this hotel again and the guy working the front desk was rude and ignorant.
