Our suite was very nice.
As a father traveling with my family, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had—and a complete embarrassment to the Hilton portfolio. Someone in a nearby room—or possibly above us—was smoking, and the smoke came straight into our bathroom through the ventilation system. Our kids were coughing all night from the exposure. Bernardo at the front desk is AMAZING. He acknowledged my lifetime status immediately. He was polite, efficient and extremely pleasant. If Bernardo is working just know your stay will be amazing-he will see to it.
I have stayed in this area many times and I have stayed here at this Homewood Suites by the airport, but not in the last 5 years or so. I was so disappointed with our stay this time. While the hotel common area looks nice, once you get to your room, it's not so great. Mainly the bathroom and shower area is so dated, it needs a renovation badly (there's no way this shower was updated within the last year). This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Someone in a nearby room or above us was smoking, and the smoke came directly into our bathroom through the ventilation system. Our kids were coughing all night because of it. We reported the issue to the front desk, but they completely ignored our concerns. No one offered any help or solution.
