I am extremely disappointed at this hotel and Hilton. We traveled from out of state and needed a place to sleep. Ann was very friendly. However when we entered the room it was full of roaches. Ann was able to find another room but it was not clean. Dirty sheets, mold in the walls. Very disappointing and the price is definitely not worth it. We stayed at Homewood Suites by Hilton Southwind Hacks Cross in Memphis, TN in town for my son’s basketball tournament. After a 10-hour drive we arrived around 2 a.m. exhausted and ready to rest. Unfortunately, when we entered the room it appeared it had not been properly cleaned. The furniture looked very worn, the sofa cushions were ripped, and we found roaches in one of the drawers. Eesshh. This place is starting to show its age. Price reflects this fact.
This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The toilet has mold or something GROWING under the water. The floors were sticky. My daughter and I had headaches all weekend that had to be something in the room since it was so nasty. Toilet would not flush either. Didn’t find that out until AFTER I took a #2. So that was fun. Floors were unswept and if you use any pots and pans from the kitchen, then get a tetanus shot. STAY AWAY! This should be called a motel. DO NOT STAY HERE. This is not a family or a business hotel in any way. I would give negative stars if I could. The hotel is beyond worn out. The room they gave me, 118, was full of mold and has some chemical cleaner in it and the hallway and everyone was coughing. Front desk rolled their eyes when I requested another room and location, but said they had no more rooms.
