I convinced myself not to leave a review because the staff was so friendly and kind! However, I had a change of heart when I was charged an additional $22 for parking from my security deposit. You're probably thinking this is normal for a downtown hotel with limited parking, but this was not the case. This hotel is not located downtown and their parking lot surrounds the entire building at the size of half a Walmart parking lot, so why would they be charging their guests for parking? When we got there, there was a long discussion about our rooms, they fixed the room situation our traveling partners. One elevator was not working, when we woke up all elevators were out of service. We had to hump the luggage down stairs. They gave me a $48 refund for that.
Just Southern politeness and charm all the way. Very clean and we'll appointed rooms. Breakfast was very good and varied day to day.
Carpets were just cleaned when we checked in. Still very wet. Had to be careful walking from carpet to hard floor. People very apologetic and helpful.
Front desk is always slow to help, mostly due to understaffing . Also, 2 of the 3 ev chargers are down. I'm writing this while waiting for front desk...
