Great place where to stay
Starting with the bad: can hear the planes, even in the room, however SD airport has a flight curfew 11:30-6:30am. It's not overly loud in the room but can hear it. Can also hear noise from the room above if there are active kids, I'd recommend requesting the 4th floor room if available. Also army, navy, firefighters train in the area and can be heard chanting from 6Am or so. We kind of found it motivating and cool to watch. Oh and heads up, no oven in the kitchen. Nice, simple clean rooms with lots of space. Great location. Beautiful outdoor areas.
We stayed one night, arrived early but Liz was very helpful. Fernando picked us up in the shuttle and he gave us information on things to do nearby. He pointed out landmarks along the way. We were able to check our bags at the front desk. We walked around and took in the sights. Breakfast was awesome. Lots of variety! Every employee we encountered was friendly, helpful and happy to help each person greeted us with a smile
