All I can say is COCKROACHES!!!!! Be careful, I stay at hotels all over the US for much of the year for work. I have done this for 23 years now. Never have I experienced such an arrogant and passive aggressive hotel manager as Victor R*amir*z at this property. I showed him the video I took of the 3 inch cockroach nesting in my "clean" towels, and he told me, "I hope the hotel you are going to doesn't have cockroaches - you can leave now." If you’re looking for a place that truly feels like a home away from home, this hotel is it. Right on the Riverwalk, walking distance to the Alamo. Rooms are spacious, rooftop pool. Staff was great over my 3 month stay, knew me by name because I was always asking for my packages! Desk staff and manager were very proactive throughout our stay. Jorge(mgr) checked in with me frequently to ensure we were being taken care of.
Very pleasant & spacious accommodations, responsive & courteous staff, convenient location and reasonable rates. My wife and the couple we were with would stay here again and highly recommend them to our friends and family.
