Don't know if it's because of the renovations but I went through two rooms and they both smelled like s***. One smelled like there was a forest fire and the next one smells like mold. Switched to a 3rd room and it was ok for a few days, then the moldy smelling stench made its way through the AC vents somehow to the new room. Won't stay here again. Check in was a hassle. We arrived at 4:30 and were told we needed to wait another 25 minutes before a room was ready. Then the room were were told was ours and marked on the card key envelope was off by two digits. So we initially went to the wrong room. Probably won't go back.
