My wife had a very disappointing experience at Homewood Suites in Oxnard. After a long day of travel she was unable to check in on schedule as the electronic keys malfunctioned. She had to wait for maintenance to change the lock which took around an hour resulting in a further delay getting into the room. When I called the manager a day later to complain and politely request a break on the rate she left me on hold for 10 minutes and then said she could do nothing for me, saying she was sorry in a tone that indicated nothing ... read more
