The location is near Chinatown, which is perfect if you’re craving Chinese food. The suite has a small kitchenette, which is very convenient. The bathroom water temperature is comfortable—not too hot and the stone floor doesn’t feel cold. Overall, the environment is very cozy and thoughtfully designed. The only downside is that breakfast runs out quickly,, by the time we went, only eggs and potatoes were left
I booked a junior suite for a week and when I arrived in the room, it was very stuffy. I was tired after my flight so I just sat on the couch while on the phone with my family. All of a sudden, I broke out in hives going from my neck to my chest and stomach. I noticed that the heat which was right next to the couch was super dusty. The hotel's location is good. The reception staff were friendly. The included breakfast was good. The only negative was that they charged us a deposit that they didn't mention anywhere and haven't refunded. (300.00 CAD)Apart from that, as we arrived at 1:30 a.m., they charged the first night to the credit card used to make the reservation. But when we arrived, they rebooked us and charged us for the full 3 nights, without telling us that they had already charged the first night to another form of payment. Worst hotel I have ever had an experience of dealing with! Refused to allow me to speak with a manger when I attempted to cancel my room, lied about policy, and forced me to pay a full room rate when I didn’t even stay. They policy states it may charge a late cancellation fee but I was refused the policy stating it would be the full room rate when I asked where does it say that. All this hotel wants is money stay away!!
We booked 1 room with 2 queen beds. We loved the location so much, very near to tourist spots, restaurants etc! Breakfast serves only from 6-930am on weekdays even on holidays. We had a great view in the penthouse suite!!
