Staff was helpful with checking in an hour early, however when we returned back to our room later that evening, we were locked out. The card reader died & there was no maintenance on property. The front desk person, Gabriella, was a god sent & had to literally lay on the floor to use a broken charger to try to open the door. After an hour of sitting in the hall way & having my boyfriend eventually get the charger in the door we were finally able to get in only to realize the fan was broken & the room was warm. I was expecting a lot more for a homewood property. We stayed at the homewood miami airport west a few months ago and loved it, which is why I booked another homewood property but this one was lacking. First, upon check in the lady was nice enough but didn't give me any info and acted like I was a bother when I asked about breakfast, and then when I asked the best way to get to the elevators from parking lot, she told me to use the side entrance because I had a child. The staff member at the front desk was extremely helpful with modifying my visit during my stay. I'm not sure of her name (possibly Gabriela) but the customer service was fantastic!
