Really nice area. Staff was really nice. Lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. Building was clean. Breakfast was good. Room had been renovated, but the quality of the workmanship could have been better seeing as it is a Homewood Suites. That's honestly my only complaint. Everything else was good, hence the 5 stars.
While the staff here seemed very nice/helpful, the accommodations were disgusting. This was easily the nastiest room I have ever stayed in outside of a motel 6. When staying at the Hilton brand, I expect better conditions. I paid for an upgrade and the only upgrade was a larger and dirtier room. There was hair everywhere, food on the counters, urine on the seat/floor, etc. The hotel claims to be recently remodeled but that is completely false advertising. With this not being our first time visiting this hotel, arriving this time was a total shock. When this hotel first opened, we really enjoyed the place and the great location. After reading some of the subpar reviews, we still decided to stay here...it was a mistake. First, soon after checking into our room, there was no water. No notification from the hotel alerting everyone. With the water off for more than 6 hours, the hotel didn't even offer any money back.
