I've had good stays here in the past, which is why this visit was especially disappointing. I spent a week here during the same time as a very large group, and the noise level was consistently high from around 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. or later. At one point, I observed children racing baggage carts through the lobby while parents and staff watched and cheered them on. Great location in Carmel, shops and restaurants nearby and easy access to freeway to travel about.
