While my stay started with a frustrating housekeeping issue—the attendant avoided cleaning my room but reported that she had—the management team completely turned the experience around. Since the housekeeper had already left for the day, the General Manager and Sales Manager personally came up and cleaned my room themselves. More a motel than a hotel. Upon arrival, I didn't even have to swipe my key card to get into my room. The bed was supported by a wire mesh base and was very springy and uncomfortable. The rooms have kitchenettes which are nice but the outside of the fridge is filthy and not well-kept. The grey smudges make you feel like you have to wash your hands extra every time you open or close the fridge.
