Homewood Suites by Hilton in Harlingen is an awesome place to stay! The rooms are super clean and spacious, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast is way better than most hotels. The location’s perfect — close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. Definitely my go-to spot whenever I’m in the area.
I stay at the Homewood Suites in Harlingen probably about three or four days every other week Jacob the front desk manager has been so helpful during all my stays. The staff, including the Kitchen staff Sylvia and Delia are wonderful I highly recommend the Homewood suites !!
Cockroaches - beware. Management (Jacob R.) refused to even speak to us. He and staff also refused to check us out, issue a refund, provide compensation, etc. We were completely ignored. Our family came to visit Harlingen for the weekend of labor day (2025). We had a wedding we were in town for 2 nights. We checked in around 10 or 11 PM on Friday, August 29, 2025.
