A very beautiful hotel with clean rooms and a great hot breakfast. Overall, we had a enjoyable stay. The only downside was that my Hilton Honors status didn’t seem to be recognized during my stay, aside from my name and membership tier appearing on the TV in the room. I would have appreciated some acknowledgment of my membership at check-in. I was also surprised to learn that the hotel is a card-only facility. Despite the 3:00 p.m. check-in time, our rooms were still not ready at 4:00 p.m. We had booked two rooms across the hall from each other. The manager insisted the second room wasn’t ready, but once we got into the first room, we could hear barking coming from across the hall. It turns out the room wasn’t “not ready”—it was still occupied by another family and their dog, so we ultimately had to be assigned a different room.
