If it weren't for the location, I would have given a 5 star rating. Not the fault of the hotel or staff. This is Destin. Everything else was 5 star. Rooms are large, new, and clean. Nice to have a full fridge and a cooktop stove. Breakfast was good and different selections each day. The only thing I didn't like was the coffee. Coffee flavored water. Too weak. I brought my own to make in my room. :-). Staff was pleasant and helpful. They actually say hi to you when they see you. Not something you get at most hotels now a days... read more

The hotel was nice and clean and in a perfect location. Close to many attractions. Only con I have is the breakfast selection. It could be better. But I would definitely stay here again and recommend.

I booked a room for a quick weekend getaway, but my grandmother unexpectedly passed away the week we were supposed to stay at this establishment. I called the hotel several days ahead of our stay and informed them of my grandmother’s death. They refused to acknowledge my request and seemed to be too busy to hear my story. Needless to say, we would have loved to be on the beach instead of having to attend our only grandmother’s funeral. We didn’t make our reservation and still got charged the full amount.

ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS PLACE. I’m a Hilton Gold member for context, stay at Hilton properties almost exclusively. Never had a real issue until I stayed here. Was there for a work trip for 2 nights. I checked out on a Thursday morning. Called them the next morning to get a copy of my receipt so I could submit my expense report due that day. No problem- they emailed it to me and it was correct. Later in the afternoon, I get another email with a different invoice showing an additional $250 charge for “tampering with equipment”. ... read more
