Our room was clean, quite and the location was prime. Everything we planned on doing was within a 3 mile radius: Paramount Theatre (1 block away), the 16th Street Mall (1 block away), lots of food and spirits within walking distance. The Aquarium was about a 7 minute drive, the Molly Brown Museum was about 2 miles away. Lots to do. The only caveat: the hotel only offers Valet Parking at $60/ day. In general, this hotel was great for a short stay in Denver. The suite-style room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast area was great, and the staff worked hard to keep it well-stocked and clean. The pool area was nice. The hotel also has a small bar just off the breakfast area where they hold a happy hour in the afternoon, and the drinks were very reasonably priced for a hotel bar. Overall the stay was okay. I regularly stay at Hilton Hotels and was very underwhelmed with my stay here. The hotel is centrally located and very clean (target close by!). However, the customer service here left a lot to be desired. First, I had a billing issue and was told several different things from different receptionists and customer service agents. In the end the manager of the hotel was “unavailable” throughout my entire stay so my billing issue was never resolved. That alone makes me wary to ever stay in a Hilton be... read more
