After driving for seven hours on a work trip, this hotel called me close to midnight to cancel my reservation that I made two months ago. They claimed they overbooked, which is absolutely unacceptable. I went to the Hampton Inn down the street, and the worker at the front desk told me this is a common issue with this Homewood Suites, that they're supposed to rebook me at a neighboring Hilton hotel, and that they shouldn't have even cancelled my reservation given that I am Honors Gold member. Currently staying here and would not come back. Our cars were broken into, stuff stolen out of them. Along with multiple other peoples vehicles. Later THE SAME day another guy was arrested for getting in peoples vehicles. We waited all day for housekeeping that never came. No one’s ever at the front desk. Our room keys quit working and had to go to the other hotel to get them fixed. The breakfast sucks. The room is decent and clean

The check in process was quick and simple but that’s were the pleasantries ended. Got into the room and noticed the remote did not have a battery cover (not a huge deal). Then my son tried to get on the bed and the WHOLE BASE collapsed resulting in him busting his lip on the end table. This was his birthday weekend trip and this is how it started. Very large stain all the way down the hallway, staff was no where to be found. I will say the Hispanic man running the breakfast was the only one who cared about customer service. ... read more
