As a long time Hilton Honors member with an extensive history of “military” family travel stays - I’m extremely aggravated that I was racially profiled by Kristin (Clifton Park Homewood) at the front desk during my check in process in April 2026. Her behavior and verbal communication towards me very easily met the criteria for someone that’s racist and bias towards a certain physical description of people. We stayed for a tournament. The building itself has been going through renovations. When checking in another family was told “it’s should be good now that renovations are done” we checked into our room and it looked nice. The towel rack in the bathroom fell off the wall when I tried to hang a towel on it. Then the front panel on the drawer u see the sink fell Off to the ground. Great hotel. Great rooms. Kind staff. Great breakfast. A little pricey but it's a nice hotel.
