Totally unacceptable. BED BUGS , I am a HGV Owner and a Diamond member. In all honesty I will be writing to corporate in regards to my stay because it was totally unacceptable. As I’ve experienced the same as the other reviews. Dirty linens, dirty dishes in the cabinet. Nails coming through carpet sticking me in the foot as o exit the bathroom. We were given a first floor room which was great since we have small kids. The room however smelled like dog or cat pee. Also everything in the room is very dated if they haven't started updating them then they should probably think about that.
Can’t say that I can recommend this place. The building is quite old and not kept up. My room had a door hinge problem that you had to slam it multiple times just to ensure that it was locked. I brought this up early and the AGM that overheard it seemed concerned and made sure maintenance took a look. They swung by 3 times each time more complexed without actually doing anything. Amazing staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and great breakfast! One of the few hotels in the area with 1-2 bedroom suites with kitchen, their 2 bdrms have 2 bathrooms.
Very disappointing stay at this location. We have stayed at other Homewood Suites and were very pleased. However, this location was extremely old, dated and not kept up well. Our room had stains on the carpet, furniture that was worn and missing handles, a bathtub that was chipping and stained, and overall "just not good". We won't be going back to this location again and will be cautious about any of their other locations.
