I had booked a 11day stay and chose it for location and the higher end hotel aspect. I was very disappointed to find hairs on the closet floor, slightly dirty kitchen and desk, and mold in the shower. Clogged bathroom sink and towel bar that was falling off made me very upset. I asked for a cleaning and fixes to the sink and towel bar the first day. Nothing happened. I asked again the next two days. They fixed the sink, but nothing else. Was there 4 days with no housekeeping. I mentioned it and they said they were short housekeepers. Disappointing because the property was nice otherwise.
Rooms, breakfast area and lobby were all nice and clean but the first floor hallway to the rooms looked like carpets and hard flooring hadn’t been vacuumed or mopped in days.
We stayed at the Charlotte/SouthPark location for 3 nights over July 4th weekend. Great location. Rooms with good amenities and layout (dividing door in between bedroom and living room plus a mini kitchen with fridge and microwave). Breakfast buffet had many options to choose from and kitchen staff were courteous. Suggestions for improvement - pillows were a little flat and there was a lingering odor in the room. This was an abrupt trip to NC to visit a family that was in hospice care. I had to travel with my dog due to the short notice. When I have to take the dog to a hotel I always choose a room at the end of the hall on the lower level to limit disturbing other patrons. I chose my room and arrived after 4pm and my room wasn’t available. They still were able to put us in a room on the lowest level at the end of the hall.
