The front-desk staff were very kind and accommodating after an unusual incident at approximately 3 a.m. They authorized a 1–2 p.m. late checkout so I could get some additional rest and assured me I would not be disturbed. Unfortunately, around I received another knock. When I explained the situation to manager Megan, she walked away while I was still speaking, which I found dismissive and unprofessional. I appreciated the other front-desk staff, who were very helpful and even offered to assist with my luggage.

My room smelled like a funky locker room. I am a diamond status member and wasn’t offered anything at check in. No sodas or anything. I missed breakfast by 10 minutes. They end it earlier than other Homewoods do. I asked if I could please have a plate and was told no. They literally had the stuff behind the room in the kitchen and were just going to throw it out. Shit service. Room smelled like shit. Shit hotel.

Expected better ! Was disappointed with the cleanliness of the rooms and the window shades were faulty with bugs in the room. First and last time staying here. They didn’t have breakfast and had to go over the adjacent connected hotel, which was a pathetic experience, location gets 5 star with a walking distance Starbucks and Whole Foods and bunch of other eateries. Decent parking as well.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I’m extremely disappointed with how this situation has been handled. I checked out of the hotel on Sunday and realized the following day that I had accidentally left my brand-new Gucci sunglasses, valued at $450, inside their Gucci case on the bed in my room. I reported them immediately. Since then, I’ve made numerous calls trying to speak with management. I’ve left several voicemails for the General Manager that have never been returned. I've stayed at this hotel a couple times now. It's in a great location, but the rooms themselves are kind of mediocre. The HVAC system was loud and kept me awake. Noticeable wear and tear on the walls and furniture. Breakfast out of basic options like cream/milk for coffee and cereal. Tons of smokers in the pool area. It's not the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, but there's better options nearby. I'll probably stay elsewhere in the future.
