Enjoyed the free breakfast. Great location, spacious rooms, relatively modern. Great for families and we were able to squeeze 4 adults in to a standard room/suite. Great use of Hilton points and location is close to the Calgary Stampede.
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The interior is absolutely beautiful — both in the common areas and in the room itself. Everything was stylish, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The breakfast, which was included in the stay, was delicious and had a great variety — a perfect start to the day. The rooms were cleaned every other day, leaving the room and wash room unclean end of the day when we come back from outside. Toiletries were not replenished until we ask for them, not even fresh towels were provided. Front desk staff was rude. We had to leave to Banff on a particular day and requested if we can grab and go the breakfast at 6:45 am. They said breakfast stars at 7 Am and there is no grab and go here. I am a Hilton Honors member, but would never return to this hotel.
Rhea is a ray of sunshine, she was wonderful from the beginning when we checked in and all the time my family stayed during our week until we checked out with her as well, always smiling and going above and beyond. Thank your Rhea!
To put it as nicely as I can, it's a mixed bag. The room was great, we were able to bring our cats and we got a full fridge, stovetop and even dishwasher. There's also an indoor pool which is nice when it's accessible... But that's about where the good stops. A few appetizers were decent, like the bruschetta and crab dip, but everything else was generally over priced for the quality you get. The service was also uh. Less than stellar.
